Learning Beyond Education
Under the Yi pillar of Youth Leadership, CII-Young Indians conceived YUVA with the vision to synergize students and their energy for positive action. The CII-Yi Yuva platform is one of the most active focus areas within Young Indians by which Yi members engage students from across the country in various initiatives that the students conceptualize, plan and execute.
The objective is to create a bridge, a platform for the students to work in cross-functional teams with a broad objective of enhancing their leadership skills and giving back to the nation. In the process, the students work in leadership roles while operationalizing projects that are based on self-development, skill building, community service and nation building.

Educational Institution: - An institution shall be considered as a “YUVA Institution” only after signing of the MOU as approved by CII-Yi with a commitment of a significant number of its students as YUVA Members.
ROLE OF THE NATIONAL YUVA TEAM
Support 24/7 all the Yuva Chairs / Coordinators for student enrolments and to sensitize the Yuva members towards Nation Building.
STRUCTURE OF CHAPTER YUVA TEAM
Like with other verticals this is a stakeholder group and would have a chair and a co-chair. These leaders would work closely with the Yuva coordinators in colleges and also with other projects & initiatives chairs in the chapter to ensure all modules as per the Yi plan are delivered across the Yuva institutions.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

Part A - Identify a YUVA
-
The Chapter YUVA Chair/Co-Chair identifies a college to onboard it as a Yuva Institution.

The Chapter YUVA team meets the college principal / Faculty and pitches Yi - YUVA to him/them. After the management agrees, the YUVA team pitches YUVA to the students.

Answer all questions about YUVA from faculty and students, and get the MOU in place

MOU to be signed before the students start registration process

Part B - Student Enrollments

The enrollment can take place on the same day as YUVA pitch, or have an exclusive day for it.

The College should fill the 'Student Enrolment Form' as prescribed by CII-Yi National Yuva team and share it with the Chapter Yuva Chair along with the details of the Teacher Coordinator.

Registration period should only be kept open for 07 days. A minimum of 250 students or all students of the college must sign up in one go.

Identify Yuva Coordinator and student leads (mandatory) Student lead could be invited to the chapter EC.

After registration is complete, meet all the students with faculty and welcome them to CII-Yi Family

Part C - Communication with National
-
YUVA chair and Chapter EM to capture all student registrations in Enrolment Form excel sheet. Each institute will have one enrolment form

Chapter EM to send details (soft copy only) of Student Enrolment form along with MOU, payment details and invoicing details to National EM keeping Yuva Regional Chair, Chapter Chair and Yuva Chair in loop.(EMs are requested to send complete mail with details enclosed for each YUVA institution separately)

National EM will clarify doubts if any followed by an acknowledgement from him/her and complete the Yuva registration process.

A copy of MOU and Enrolment Form for each institute to be maintained safely at National and Chapter level.
